Jīròu Sports Therapy, based in Milton Keynes, is run by myself, Rachel Sutton. I hold a L5 Adavanced Diploma in Sports Therapy with distinction, a L5 Diploma in Sport and Remedial Massage, a L4 Certificate in Sports Massage, I am trained in On-site Seated Massage and I am a qualified first aider. I am on the CNHC (Complementary and Natural Healthcare Council) register.
In my sporting life I have played canoe polo at national level, as well as taking part in mountain biking events and long trail runs. I also enjoy being out in the mountains, climbing and walking, and working out at the gym. I have a background in teaching and I am a qualified climbing instructor.
I am pleased to have helped people from many different sporting backgrounds, including the current National and former World Kumite Karate Champion and an international and former Commonwealth Games Men’s Hockey player. I have also worked with a number of teams, including Bletchley Ladies Rugby team and Leek 1st Ladies Hockey team.
I have also worked with non sporting-clients, across all ages, helping to improve how their bodies function, increasing their range of movement and flexibility, so that they can carry out daily activities, pain free.
